Certifications
CISR - Certified Insurance Service Representative
This designation is received after satisfactory completion of a five part, one day each, study program. Annual continuing education is a requirement to maintain the designation. This program provides our employees with the current knowledge and necessary skills to support the overall Mission of the Agency.
CIC - Certified Insurance Counselor
The CIC designation is received after satisfactory completion of a five part, two and a half-day each, study program. Annual continuing education is required to maintain the designation. This program is designed to enhance the knowledge and understanding of the insurance process for all agency personnel. Individuals with this designation are well prepared to advise and assist the buyer of business and personal insurance.
CPCU - Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter
The Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation is received after completion of a ten part series covering insurance and its place in the overall business world. This program is designed to be comparable to a Masters Degree on the university level and usually takes five years to complete. This is the highest level of professional designation offered within the insurance industry.

Independent Insurance Agents of America
This national organization is made-up of over 25,000 independent insurance agencies. The Big "I" is the leading voice for the independent insurance agent on the national level and assists independent agents with legislation, advertising and overall agency issues. IIAA provides the major effort to present Medley/Turrentine & Associates and the "Trusted Choice" for the buying public.
Oklahoma Association of Insurance Agents
OAIA is made-up of over 325 independent insurance agencies representing over 4,000 agents and their employees in the State of Oklahoma. This "grass roots" organization leads our industry in providing educational, legislative and operational assistance to its membership.
National Association of Insurance Women
NAIW has over 13,000 member's spread over nine Regional Areas covering 48 states. The goals of the Association are achieved through professional education, mentoring and networking, strong industry alliances and enhanced professional development for their members and employers.
